Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachan were established Bollywood superstars long before they fell in love and got married on the 20th April 2007 at Jalsa. The whole wedding had been kept a big secret and very few guests. Video shots were blocked by the parked busses and vehicles.
It was a short wedding and the 'biddai' on April, 21, 2007 from Aishwariya’s residence at Bandra. In this Wedding ceremony their close friends and family only attended. The wedding was preceded by a traditional Sangeet (music) celebration and a Mehendi (henna) ceremony.
